House Leaders
Our house leaders are previous housemates who have showed an extraordinary devotion to following Jesus as their Lord and Savior, they have stepped up to be a humble leader within their discipleship homes to further His kingdom where needed, and they are trustworthy to uphold what is right in all situations no matter how hard the call they have to make is.
Julian George: "My testimony begins with how He won me over with His love, I had walked away from Him to win the love of the world, but grew weary, weak and felt empty after I wasted all that was given to me spending all on the things of the world. Then I realized how much He loves me and returned to Him. He saw me return home, came running to me with open arms carrying forgiveness. I now know He is my Father and I’m His son, a new creation in Him. I am now sold in the quest of helping all find their way to our Father’s love.
I live in a Discipleship home to run away from youthful passions and to run towards righteousness, faith, charity, peace, along with all brothers who call on the Lord out of a pure heart living in the Discipleship house with me.
If you are looking for a place where you can have a lot of fun, develop life long friendships and most importantly grow in love and in knowledge of Christ Jesus, this program is so for you!"
Jocie Morgan: "Throughout my life, I have been fortunate to see God's faithfulness through the example of my parents and extended family. But it wasn't until my high school years when I realized that faith in Jesus wasn't something you claimed because it was "what you did", but that a relationship with Jesus, trust in God, and a desire for the Holy Spirit could actually transform my life. After hearing the stories of others and experiencing God's love for myself, a hunger to know God and have a relationship with Him was sparked inside my heart. I'm glad to say that hunger has only grown over time and has deepened my faith as I have seen His faithfulness over and over again.
Doing life with other people has been a huge catalyst for my own personal growth, and has also introduced me to the beauty and challenges of intimate friendship. Life in the discipleship houses continues to push me towards my goals, keeps me accountable in how I use my time, and reminds me that the only way I can grow is by opening myself up to other people in small, and then larger, ways. This is the only way I want to live my life! I'm so grateful to have learned this kind of life is possible by living in this community.
We all feel this pull to live a life that is "worth something" — our Millennial generation especially! Rather than continuing to condemn ourselves for not having the perfect job, spotless image, or a clear purpose for our lives, why don't we find purpose in the mundane moments of our daily lives? I would recommend anyone join this program who is wanting to grow in their relationship with the Lord and wants to discover how doing life together can change the communities we are immersed in. Life isn't easy, but we can continue to learn and grow when we are doing it together!"
